Concert in Studio City, CA - Feb 16, 1997

I had the wonderful experience of meeting Chris in person on Sunday Feb 16, 1997!

Greg, Al, and I agreed to meet in the parking lot that afternoon before the concert was to begin. The only problem was that I was waiting in the *wrong* parking lot... . I went searching for my fellow web-crawlers at Jerry's deli. I heard a voice call out: 'Dave...'. It was Chris himself! I was flabberghasted!

The four of us had a long discussion about Chris' career. Later, Rob Meurer joined us.

Chris invited the three of us to their sound-check that afternoon.

Later that evening, just before the concert, we got a chance to meet Chris' wife, Jan. We also met Rob's wife Beth, Chris' manager and some of Chris' long-time friends.

Then.... the CONCERT!............... Chris and the band performed the following songs:
